A Pella Police Officer and two former Knoxville residents recently had the opportunity to repel down the 345 foot tall Financial Building in Des Moines. Officer Brad Vincent and 85 year old Bob Ashton and his wife, 83 year old Neola eached raised at least $1,000 which went to the Special Olympics of Iowa. Vincent says he had a great time with the event, and says participants in Des Moines were all entered in a drawing to repel off a hotel building in Las Vegas next year.
