Students at Knoxville’s elementary schools spent part of this week helping raise money to be put to use in their classrooms. The Knoxville Elementary PTO held their first Jog-a-Thon this past week at both Northstar and West Elementary. Students collected either flat donations or pledges per lap completed. Money raised at West will go toward a new printer and document camera. At Northstar, money raised will be put toward the purchase of an I-Pad for every classroom. Participants received a Panther wristband, a snack, and a chance to win an I-Pod Shuffle.
