The KNIA/KRLS Breast Cancer Save a Life Radiothons were held this past week. The Big Red Radio broadcasted live from Knoxville Hospital and Clinics on Tuesday and Pella Regional Health Center Thursday. Medical professionals provided information related to breast cancer and survivors told their stories at the Big Red Radio. The goal of the radiothon is to get women to sign up for their annual mammogram. Many women made those appointments this past week, both in person and on the phone. The Radiothon was held as part of breast cancer awareness month.
