October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month. To help spread the word, the Beta Kappa Epsilon fraternity at Central College along with the office of Intercultural Life will hold a “Walk a Mile in Her Shoes” walk this Saturday. The men of BKE will walk one mile, beginning at the Tulip Toren, in high heeled shoes. BKE member and event organizer Nick Zander says all proceeds raised will go to the Crisis Intervention Center to be used for initiatives raising awareness about domestic violence.
