The Central Iowa Regional Transportation Planning Alliance will be meeting in Pella next week to discuss a long term transportation plan. The group is currently developing the Horizon Year 2035 Long-Range Transportation Plan and will be holding a public meeting in Pella to receive input on the future development of the transportation system. The meeting in Pella will be held on November 2, 2011, at 6:00 p.m. at the Pella Public Library. At the meeting, the Alliance staff will provide a brief overview of the organization and the requirements of the Long-Range Transportation Plan.
