The heavy wet snow and ice from early this week has caused major damage to the antenna system on KRLS radio tower located between Pella and Knoxville.
The antenna equipment is mounted near the top of the 350 foot tower, and is essential to our 92.1 KRLS broadcast. At this moment we are at lowered power, and a replacement plan is being formulated. A crew of seven from Electronic Research incorporated, an antenna specialist company, from Chandler, Indiana is formulating a plan.
Once that has been determined we will pass that information on to you. KNIAKRLS owner Mel Suhr, stated that this is a very unusual problem, and that replacing or repairing at the top of the tower, is making a solution
even more difficult.
We apologize for any inconvenience and ask for your patience while we get this corrected.
If you are having trouble receiving 92.1 KRLS due to the lower power, you can stream it live below.

Again once the plan is ready to implement we will pass the information on to you.
