More than $250,000 was given away in prize money and merchandise during the Knoxville Raceway’s year-end banquet this past weekend. Knoxville Raceway Marketing Director Brian Stickel says that about 550 people gathered for the event, including a majority of drivers and pit crews and their families. Carson McCarl, Clint Garner, and Danny Lisowski were recognized for their championships, and long-time Director of Racing Ralph Capitani was given a standing ovation and a golf cart as a retirement present. Capitani has worked at Knoxville Raceway for over 45 years.
