The National Sprint Car Hall of Fame and Museum had a pretty good 2011. That’s according to Hall of Fame and Museum Director Bob Baker. Baker tells KNIA/KRLS News that more than 11,000 people visited the Hall of Fame and Museum in 2011. That’s up slightly from 2010, when just less than 11,000 people visited. Baker says that having the “Salute to Champions: Tony Stewart” exhibit in a year that Stewart won a NASCAR Sprint Cup Championship was great timing. He adds that the National Sprint Car Hall of Fame Class of 2012 is set to be announced next week, during the Chili Bowl in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
