A night after being on the right side of a one-goal victory, the Pella Christian boys soccer team experienced how it felt to be on the other side, as they fell 1-0 to Oskaloosa Tuesday night. It was a defensive showdown between the Little Hawkeye Conference rivals, as neither team was able to find the goal for nearly the entire match. The Indians took advantage on a long free kick that got past goalkeeper Alek Vink with roughly five minutes remaining in the contest. Still, Vink recorded 12 saves on the night for the Eagles, who slip to 6-4 overall this season. They’re off until Monday when they’ll take on Perry.
