Marion County Public Health is offering free T-DAP vaccinations to area families. The vaccination covers tetanus, diptheria and pertussis, or whooping cough. The Iowa Department of Public Health recently released a report citing an increased number of whooping cough cases across the state. Judi Van Hulzen, with Marion County Public Health, says infants and young children can often times have a very tough time with it, especially when compared to adults. For more information and to see if you qualify for the free booster, contact Marion County Public Health at 828-2238.
