DMACC has announced that it is expanding in Knoxville. Mary Entz, Provost at the Newton Campus says that they have assigned a part-time academic advisor to an office in Knoxville, and that they will increase the number of DMACC courses offered in the city. DMACC staff member Chantel Boyd will operate out of an office in Knoxville City Hall. Boyd is a Knoxville native who attended DMACC and Central College. New courses to be offered will focus on DMACC’s liberal arts transfer program, as well as business/entrepreneurism classes.
Boyd’s summer office hours in Knoxville are Monday 1 to 5 PM, Tuesday 9 AM to 1PM and Wednesday 1 to 5PM. She can be reached at 641-840-2026.
