Nine girls and young women from across the county will be competing in this year’s Marion County Fair Queen competition on Saturday. The candidates are competing for a chance to be the face of the Marion County Fair as well as the county’s representative at the Iowa State Fair competition. The current queen is Katelyn Sanders, from Pleasantville High School. This year’s competition will be at 7pm Saturday at First United Methodist Church in Knoxville.
