The Knoxville School Board will consider amendments to their Code of Conduct policies during their regular meeting this afternoon. High School principal Kevin Crawford, Activities Director Randy Wilson, and others in a committee have been working to revise how students’ participation in athletics, the arts, and other organizations are impacted if they commit a violation such as consumption of alcohol or tobacco use. The board will also hear an update on how the Affordable Care Act, sometimes called ObamaCare, may impact the school district, among other items. The meeting starts at 5:30 at the Knoxville Administration Building.
