The Pella City Council Held a Policy and Planning Session at their Tuesday meeting discussing the repainting of the South Water Tower. The towers need to be repainted every 20 to 25 years and the south tower is reaching that limit. The tower will likely be painted the same color as another water tower in Pella, a very light blue, but the council hopes to alter the logo painted on the tower, and will discuss options in future meetings.
