Two state congressional candidates will be speaking at the National Association of Retired Federal Employees Meeting this week. Knoxville’s local chapter will host Republican House candidate Greg Heartsill and Democratic Senate candidate Dick Schrad over lunch at the VFW on Tuesday. They’ll begin speaking at 11:30 and the public is invited to attend. A chicken and noodle lunch will be available for purchase. Schrad is running against Republican Amy Sinclair in Iowa Senate District 14. Heartsill is running in Iowa House District 28 against Democrat Megan Suhr.
