The National Sprint Car Hall of Fame and Museum is hosting its 3rd annual Charity Bike Ride this Saturday. The ride is being held to coincide with the American Motorcyclist Association Pro Flat-Track Grand National Championship at the Knoxville Raceway this weekend. Registration for the ride begins at 9am Saturday, with the group departing at 10am.
There are three major destinations that the main group will be visiting, including two stops in Des Moines and a stop at the Harley-Davidson shop in Indianola. Director Bob Baker says that the ride, which costs $30, benefits the non-profit museum. Riders will also be entered for door prizes and will receive a dinner at the Hall of Fame and Museum on Saturday night.
