A golf cart traveling through the intersection of West Main and Fremont in Knoxville was struck by a turning car shortly after noon today. Knoxville Police Chief Dan Losada tells KNIA/KRLS news on scene that no one was seriously injured in the accident, and that the preliminary investigation suggests that the driver of the car was at fault. Charges are pending. Knoxville Rescue and Marion County Emergency Management also responded to the scene.
