The Marion County Sheriff’s Office reminds residents to be careful on roadways during the holiday season. In addition to the recent winter weather, family get-togethers bring higher risks of drinking and driving. Recent studies indicate that one in ten drivers are legally impaired on a typical weekend – a number that could be higher with more cars on the road. The Sheriff’s Office encourage residents to send a message to drunk drivers and and report any vehicle you believe may be operated by intoxicated driver.
