The Pella City Council met last night to review the city’s strategic plan among other items. The strategic plan identifies things the city needs to improve upon over the next 7 years. They also gave final approval to the work on East 3rd Street. A final plat for an expansion of the Fountain View Subdivision was approved as well, and the council approved a new electric rate structure. The electric rates will now have a seasonal rate structure which cost more over summer, but rates are reduced the rest of the year to balance it out.
