The Knoxville Raceway has postponed tonight’s opening night. Race Director John McCoy says they don’t want to make the first night of action a question mark for drivers. More than six inches of rain has fallen in the past couple weeks at the Raceway, eliminating practice time. McCoy says with a new tire for the 410 class, six rookies, and a projected temperature of 43 degrees, opening night would be a large hurdle for the Raceway and their drivers. Pella Motors Race For Your Schools Night has been moved to April 27th.
