The Theme for the 117th Annual Monroe Old Settlers Days is “The Fireman’s Frolic.” Events celebrating the Monroe Fire Department’s 100th Anniversary begin tomorrow with a community hog roast from 5pm to 7pm. Other activities include car and tractor shows, a free Jason Brown concert, and a teen dance. KNIA/KRLS’s Lil’ Big Red Radio will be on site Saturday from 9am to 3pm playing music and making announcements.
