Around 100 people were at Crossroads Hall Saturday for the 2nd annual “Our Liberties We Prize” banquet. State Representative Greg Heartsill formally announced that he would run for reelection in the Iowa House in 2014. Congressman Steve King was the keynote speaker. He told the crowd about the need for leaders to step up and protect our liberties. King said that he met Heartsill four years ago, and knows he’s a leader who will do just that.
