Ag Secretary Bill Northey recently caught up with KNIA/KRLS News and says drought conditions this spring weren’t nearly as bad as last spring. He said that the amount of rainfall received across the state was enough to reduce some drought conditions. Eastern parts of Marion County remain abnormally dry in the latest drought monitor report released last week.
