The Marion County Employers Council is holding their bi-monthly meeting Thursday.

The topic this month is the Americans with Disabilties Act and reasonable accommodations at the workplace. Pella Chamber of Commerce Director Karen Eischen says it can be challenging for small businesses to understand some of the rules and regulations because they don’t work with them on a daily basis, and says this is a chance for local businesses to make a new contact and ask questions. The meeting is free and open to the public at Pizza Ranch in Pella from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. A buffet lunch is available at the attendee’s own expense.
