Those who are looking to get some end-of-season camping in will have the opportunity to do so at most area campgrounds in the county this weekend. However, this is the final weekend of the camping season for Ivan’s, North Overlook, and Whitebreast campgrounds as they close on Monday. Howell Station, Roberts Creek West, and Marion County Park campgrounds will remain open through October 27 and Wallashuck and Roberts Creek East campgrounds will be open through the 13th. Some areas of Cordova Park will have restricted access and flush restrooms will close starting next month.
