Members from the two campaigns competing for the Governor’s office next Tuesday are making their way through Pella.

Lt. Governor Candidate Monica Vernon was in Pella Sunday as a part of the Iowa Democratic Party’s 99 in 24 tour. She says that the Hatch-Vernon ticket will provide leadership in Iowa that she feels is lacking. Vernon says Iowa needs to work to reinvent itself to keep up with the changing world. Her opponents Governor Terry Branstad and Lt. Governor Kim Reynolds will be in Pella Wednesday at 1:45 p.m. inside Plant Number 2 at Vermeer Corporation.
