The Knoxville School Board approved a resolution authorizing the review of disclosure activities and participation in the Municipalities Continuing Disclosure Cooperation initiative.

Superintendent Cassi Murra says a decision on the initiative was needed because a pair of bond issue audits weren’t submitted in a timely manner, leading for a need to have them self-reported to the federal government.

Murra says this is more of a compliance resolution that will line them up with the other school districts in Iowa.
