An arraignment has been scheduled for a Knoxville felon accused of stealing tens of thousands of dollars of property from two homes in a five hour span.
According to court records, on November 17th, 30-year-old Nathan Leland Minard stole over $10,000 worth of property from a Knoxville home, including a shotgun. He also allegedly stole a second shotgun from his uncle’s residence in Harvey that same day. Minard was apprehended by a Marion County Sheriff’s Deputy where he kicked the deputy and patrol car upon his arrest.
Minard was previously convicted of felony burglary in May 2013.
Minard is charged with 1 count of First Degree Theft, a Class C Felony, 2 counts of Third Degree Burglary, Class D Felonies, 2 counts possession of firearms, Class D Felonies, 1 count criminal mischief, a Class D Felony, 1 count Assault on a Peace Officer, and 1 count Fourth Degree Theft, among other charges.
His arraignment is set for Friday.
