The Marion County Board of Supervisors will hold a special session Wednesday to discuss funding for the Attica-Pershing Wastewater Project.
In December, the Central Iowa Water Association (CIWA) gave written notice they withdrew from the project and terminated their 28E agreement with Marion County because of countless delays, including those resulting from a lawsuit filed by Cee Cee Farms to prevent access to their property. The board has been asked to weigh in on the $4.4 million dollar project to see if a resolution can be reached to continue the project.
Executive Director of the Region 6 Planning Commission Marty Wymore is scheduled to be at the session, which will be at the Marion County Courthouse beginning at 9am.
