The Marion County Development Commission is set to announce the 2014 Best of the Red Rock Area awards.
An event is planned for Thursday, January 29th at 4 p.m. in the Graham Conference Center at Central College. Special invitations are in the mail for winners. Executive Director of the Marion County Development Commission Carla Eysink tells KNIA/KRLS news the commission will also give a presentation about tourism’s $48 million impact on the local economy and plans for tourism in Marion County this year. Voting opens for the 2015 Best of the Red Rock Area awards on February 1st.
