Knoxville’s Coaches vs. Cancer event broke it’s own record this year.
Knoxville has earned the most money in the country for a Coaches vs. Cancer event for the American Cancer Society for the past two years. With this year’s record total of $85,676, they have a good chance at making it three straight.
Organizers Angie and Jim Uitermarkt announced the total Wednesday and say the number could still change. The total easily surpasses last year’s record of nearly $59,000. The total also means Knoxville Coaches vs Cancer has donated over a quarter of a million dollars to the American Cancer Society.
