The Knoxville School Board met in regular session Monday night, and Superintendent Cassi Murra shared the good news that according to the Iowa Department of Education, Knoxville Community Schools led the South Central Conference in both reading and math. Also during the meeting, the board also responded to the collective bargaining proposal presented by the Knoxville Education Association, saying that their full response will await funding decisions yet to be made at the state level.
