Many are beginning to enjoy the warmer weather outdoors, and most area campsites will soon see an influx of campers.
Howell Station Campground at Lake Red Rock and Roberts Creek East open on Thursday, April 16th. Ivan’s, Whitebreast, and North Overlook will all open on Thursday, April 23rd. Marion County Park, The Elk Rock State Park and the Roberts Creek Park West Campgrounds are already open.

– Ivan’s Recreation Area and Campground – OPENS April 23
– North Overlook Recreation Area and Campground – OPENS for season April 23
– Wallashuck Recreation Area – OPENS for season April 23
– Whitebreast Recreation Area and Campground – OPENS for season April 23
– North Overlook will remain closed for the duration of the Lake Red Rock Hydroelectric Project.
