The Pella Lady Dutch girls track team continues their roll as they head towards the blue oval later this week.
They won the Lady Jay invite with a team score of 217. Head Coach Dak Rasmussen said cold weather knocked down the times a bit, but adds his group showed great toughness in continuing their momentum into Drake. Pella had 12 events take home 1st place honors in Bondurant. The Pella Little Dutch boys track team took third with a smaller roster as they too were traveling. They placed behind Urbandale and Des Moines Lincoln. Chase Van Sant won the long jump and Michael Buma won the 400 hurdles. Garret Jansen was 2nd in shotput.
