In another forward-moving season, the Central women’s track and field team took more strides towards being an annual powerhouse in 2015. The Dutch finished runners-up at the Iowa Conference outdoor and indoor meets, and sent a good number of ladies over to New York to compete in the Division III National Meet. Coach Joe Dunham says it has a lot to do with the talented underclassmen that were able to take to the stage and show-off their abilities.
There were 18 seniors on this year’s team, and Dunham says he’s looking forward to the experience the freshmen and the whole team in general will bring back to the track for 2015-16.
