Pella Historical Society is holding an event this summer aimed at young girls who hope to one day become Tulip Queen.

Marketing Intern and Former Queen Leah Blankespoor says the Tulip Princess Academy will take place on Thursday. Blankespoor says the program is for young girls who aspire to be on the Royal Court and to also teach them about past royalty.
