The Pella Chamber of Commerce reviewed results of a human capital survey at their quarterly meeting Thursday.

Connie Toenjes with the Ray Center at Drake University tells KNIA/KRLS News they conduct surveys like these in many communities around the Des Moines metro. She says the goal is to understand how residents and employees are connected to the community. Toenjes says Pella earned high marks from respondents in community support, safety, community pride, professional and personal development. The town had lower numbers when it came to participation in local politics and community affairs.
