Community support continues to pour in for a New Sharon family that lost three young boys in a car crash last week.

Phil Hemming with Sports Page Sporting Goods in Pella tells KNIA/KRLS News that in the first week of selling special “Warhawk Strong” t-shirts, they were able to raise $5700, with 100% of that money going towards expenses for the Hickin/Singletary family.

“As a father of two boys, I can’t imagine what this family went through and the loss they suffered,” Hemming says. “We are just doing what we can to help.”

Hemming says the idea stemmed from a conversation with North Mahaska parent Stacia McGriff, who reached out to him on the night of the tragedy.
