
Democratic Presidential Candidate Bernie Sanders spoke to a crowd of 500 at Northstar Elementary in Knoxville Thursday morning.
The Vermont Senator addressed a wide range of issues, including income inequality, family leave, health care, trade and unemployment, among other topics. Sanders discussed his desire for “political revolution,” and his reaffirmed his stance against unlimited spending of money in politics. Sanders also answered questions about racial issues, gun control, arts in education, college affordability, and ensuring fair employment opportunities for those with disabilities.
