Former Maryland Governor Martin O’Malley spoke to a crowd of more than 70 at Central College Monday.
O’Malley spoke about many of his key policies, including climate change and the need for an all-renewable energy grid by 2050.
After the meeting, he told KNIA/KRLS News he was impressed with the sustainability efforts at Central, and it’s imperative that small communities lead the charge.
O’Malley answered a wide range of questions about pharmaceutical companies, the impact of race on incarceration and wages, his plans for affordable college, and how he would handle the Syrian refugee crisis.
