Current conditions have led many bald eagles to Lake Red Rock.
Park Ranger Tracy Spry says the Army Corps of Engineers will have a special viewing session on Saturday, March 5th from 9 to 10 a.m. at Horn’s Ferry Bridge by the Howell Station Landing. She tells KNIA/KRLS News this time of year is great to spot eagles feeding and roosting along the river. She says hundreds have been seen by guests and park rangers in the past few weeks.
Spotting scopes will be set up on the bridge to watch the birds, and staff will be on hand to answer questions.
