While the lower weights was where the Knoxville Wrestling Squad struggled this season…the upper weights were the Panthers strong point. Evident, the Panthers’ 195 and 220 pound wrestlers qualified for the State Meet. Coach Doug Hatch tells KNIA/KRLS Sports he is confident the upper weights will stay strong with what he calls several “hammers” in the lineup and the lower weights will continue to improve. Hatch says he likes the younger guys coming in and thinks they can also grab some varsity positions next season.
