The investigation continues into the death of a four-month-old child in Pleasantville.

Pleasantville Police Chief Joe Msrstik tells KNIA/KRLS News an autopsy was completed Monday morning, and that a final autopsy report with be released in approximately 60 days. Mrstik says an autopsy is standard procedure with infant deaths, and he appreciates the help the DCI, the Marion County Sheriff’s Department, and local first responders have provided. KNIA/KRLS News will provide more information as soon as it becomes official.
