The West School expansion project has set a target for completion in late August.

The seven classroom addition will have special small group classrooms for English language learners and speech therapy. Knoxville Schools Superintendent Cassi Pearson says the new addition will bring great opportunities for learning. The renovation of old West will begin at the end of August. New lights and windows will be installed along with the redesign of several rooms and offices.
