The Pella Police Department assisted with an investigation in which a Des Moines man was found with a truck stolen from a local car dealership.

Earlier this month, the department received a report that a pickup had been stolen.

Investigators shared details with regional law enforcement, and on May 19th, police received information that the stolen truck was in Des Moines.

Chaiya Cavan, 32, was arrested and charged in Polk County with 1st degree theft, a class C felony.

Cavan is currently being held at the Polk County Jail.
