Construction crews are busy this summer with renovations at Pella High School.
Since students have been out of class, Superintendent Greg Ebeling says the building is beginning to undergo significant transformation.
Ebeling says structural work on a new east wing has started, with the steel frame and concrete footings starting to take shape.
Work changing the existing entrance to the building has relocated many of the high school administrators, with the principal and athletic director working out of the career academy this summer.
The main entrance to the building will be located near the Media Center this fall.
