More than $1 million in renovations are ongoing at the Pella Opera House this fall.
New Executive Director Heidi Kelley says work will continue through next month on numerous capital projects aimed to improve the overall health of the facility.
“Some things audience members may see, the grand hall is getting completely renovated, but some things like an HVAC system and pure wireless throughout the whole building–those things you won’t be able to see but you’ll definitely be able to feel the effect.”
She says shows will begin soon after completion of the improvements, with a season kick-off party scheduled in late October.
