A retired Knoxville Police Department K9 has passed away.
According to the department, Knox died yesterday morning at his home outside of Knoxville. Knox retired from the department less than a year ago and was able to spend his retirement with his partner and handler, Officer Chris Rowland. Knox regularly received perfect scores at the annual state-wide Detector Dog Trials.
