A Knoxville Raceway regular has been invited to a combine with the possibility of a fast-track path to NASCAR.

Sprint car driver Mckenna Haase is attending the Drive for Diversity Combine at New Smyrna Speedway in Florida. Haase and 17 other participants will be evaluated by NASCAR and Rev Racing officials based on racing skill, athleticism, media relations as they vie for a spot in one of motorsport’s top driver development programs. Haase admits the combine will present a challenge as she has little experience in asphalt racing, but she says she’s ready to meet any challenges.NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Star Kyle Larson is a graduate of the Drive for Diversity program. Haase will attend the program October 10 through 12.
