The north Knoxville Casey’s is undergoing a major remodel which adds 600 square feet to the north side of the building.

Sam James with Casey’s General Stores Inc. tells KNIA/KRLS News the idea behind the remodel is to bring all the products and services of newer, larger stores to existing stores. The project will include adding a made-to-order sub sandwich program, expanding the number of cooler doors, adding a walk in beer cave, and significantly enhancing the coffee and fountain drink offerings. The store will also have all new floors, countertops and signage installed. The project will be completed at the beginning of December. The store will remain open for the majority of the project but, it is scheduled to close on Monday, November 28 and reopen on Friday, December 2.
